Re: Questions about FA
FA is an abbreviation for the German word “Fahrzeugausstattung”, which means "vehicle equipment".
The FA list contains all the equiment of your bike. Does it have TPM or not. Is an alarm system installed or not? European version or US version? Or does it have special equipment for the police, etc, etc.
Using the FA editor, you can edit the FA list of a bike to add or remove equipment. So if you, for example, want to add the additional headlights, you could simply mark that option in the FA editor. BU will then do the necessary changes in the corresponding control units.
Or you could use SVT comapre to let BU show you the changes, so you can do them yourself. For SVT compare you need the FA.XML and SVT.XML for your bike. You can get these files by doing a full backup and the unzipping the backup file, as it also contains the FA and SVT files.
These are the necessary changes BU would do if I would remove the option 562 (additional headlights) from the FA of my bike.

Re: Questions about FA
Thank you very much. You have opened my eyes to the world. I apologize for the language problem because I used Google Translate to ask the question.
I would like to ask for more information. If I edit the FA and there is no change, does that mean it is just the nameplate? There is no change to the vehicle itself?

Re: Questions about FA
There are options that have no entry in a control unit. Of course options like the style of the body parts or what exhaust is mounted.puwanai hat geschrieben: 19.12.2024, 08:38 I would like to ask for more information. For options that are not so obvious, I can't tell whether BU knows the necessary changes to the control units for each option or not.But I assume it does at least for the most common ones
